What is it?

Hemorrhoids are an uncomfortable and painful condition caused by the enlargement and swelling of the veins around the rectum and anus. Internal hemorrhoids occur on the inside of the rectum; external hemorrhoids occur around the anus. Treatment of hemorrhoids depends on the severity of the disease and the symptoms.
