What is it?

Arma is an endoscopic method used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive system. This method is usually used to relieve narrowing or obstruction in the esophagus, stomach and intestines. The rigging procedure is an effective treatment used to dilate or unblock the esophagus or intestinal canals.

How is it done?

The patient is sedated and the endoscopy device is directed to the relevant area. The problem area is usually enlarged by balloon dilatation or stenting. In balloon dilatation, a balloon placed in the area is inflated in a controlled manner to open the narrowed area. Stenting aims to prevent blockage by providing a permanent or temporary solution. The duration of the procedure and the patient’s condition may vary depending on the method used.

• Esophageal Stenosis (Esophageal Stenosis): Especially in the treatment of narrowing caused by conditions such as reflux, trauma or cancer.
• Intestinal Blockages: Removal of blockages caused by tumors or tissue damage.
• Post-Surgical Strictures: Opening of narrowings that develop after digestive system surgeries.
