What is a Transaction?

A detailed pregnancy ultrasound (USG) is an imaging procedure to examine in detail the development and health of the baby during pregnancy. It provides comprehensive information about the development of the baby’s organs, body position, heartbeat and general condition. It is also important to check the structure of the uterus and placenta and to assess the birth canal.

How is it done?

At our clinic in Cigli, Izmir, detailed pregnancy ultrasound is performed using advanced ultrasound equipment. While the expectant mother is lying comfortably, the probe of the ultrasound device is gently placed on the abdomen. The device sends sound waves to create images of the baby on the screen. This allows the baby’s body structure, organ development and general health to be examined in detail. If necessary, the baby’s heart and blood circulation can also be assessed using Doppler ultrasound. The procedure is usually painless and can be completed in a few minutes.

What are the Symptoms?

Detailed pregnancy ultrasound can be performed when the following conditions are observed during pregnancy:

  • Abnormal Symptoms During Pregnancy: Evaluation of abdominal pain, bleeding or other abnormal symptoms.
  • Miscarriage Risk: To check whether the pregnancy is progressing safely.
  • Delayed Development of the Baby: Symptoms suggesting that the baby has not reached the expected growth rate.
  • Uterine and Placental Problems: To learn about the structure of the uterus and the condition of the placenta.

What are the Treatment Methods?

  • Early Diagnosis and Monitoring: Regular USG checks during pregnancy help to monitor the health of the baby and the mother.
  • Treatment Planning: If problems are detected in the baby’s development or in the uterus, early intervention and treatment plans are created.
  • Regular check-up and follow-up: For a healthy pregnancy, the condition of the baby and mother is checked regularly by ultrasound.

This ultrasound method is important to monitor the healthy development of the baby throughout pregnancy and to detect potential problems early.
